Situated
in the Machakos hills, 5,400 feet above sea level and
40 miles from Nairobi, Kuota is a beautiful thatched
colonial style house, built in 2002. It is set in fifteen
acres of land that forms part of a 7,500 acre former
cattle ranch and its garden and pool form an oasis from
which to see a wonderful variety of bird life. Impala,
Thompson Gazelle, Kongoni and Giraffe roam over the
unspoiled African countryside around.
